Here are some questions we get all the time. We thought we'd put them all in one place. But if there is every something that we've not answered, start a chat with us, or contact us.  

✨ Shipping - How long will my order take to be delivered & is it tracked?

Shipping times vary, and right now the world is still experiencing delays due to COVID and even here in Australia every now and then borders will close and shipping will be disrupted.

Not all shipping is tracked. We suggest you select the best shipping option for your needs.

We do not charge anything above what it costs us to ship to you, except for standard postage via Australia post, it's less because is FREE 🎉

✨ Why does some of my shipping material look used?

Because it is. At Glitterazzi, we try to reuse before we recycle. If you get some tissue paper that's crumpled, cut cardboard or another company's shipping box that because we're trying to reuse first.

✨ Why did I receive plastic bubble wrap when you say you don't use plastic?

At Glitterazzi, we never buy plastic packaging but other companies do. So when we receive work or personal deliveries and they have bubble wrap we do our best to reuse this (but only when necessary). 

✨ What is biodegradable glitter?

Glitterazzi will only ever use biodegradable glitter that is proven to break down into harmless substances. That's why we only use Bioglitter™. Bioglitter™ is an eco-friendly alternative to plastic based glitter and has been developed to tackle microplastic pollution created by glitter.

Completely unique, Bioglitter^™, uses natural and plant-derived, polymer material as it’s basis that are proven to biodegrade in the natural environment, rather than polymers that do not biodegrade in the natural environment and contribute to microplastic pollution.  All Bioglitter^™  products have been tested and PROVEN to biodegrade into harmless substances in the natural environment.

✨ Does biodegradable glitter contain plastic?

Yes and no. Why do we say that?

We have two kinds of glitter available by Bioglitter^™ SPARKLE and PURE both use natural and plant-derived material that are proven to biodegrade in the natural environment however SPARKLE has a tiny bit of plastic. More below:

Bioglitter™ SPARKLE

The original game changer, Bioglitter™ SPARKLE, is the first real and proven biodegradable glitter. Indistinguishable from traditional plastic glitter, Bioglitter® SPARKLE is based on plant material rather than plastic and it will naturally degrade in the environment.

Containing a tiny amount of plastic it is PROVEN high biodegradation performance in freshwater, only 3% off meeting the performance criteria for OK Biodegradable WATER certification, apart from Cosmetic Bioglitter™ PURE, it is still the most eco-friendly glitter on the market.

Bioglitter™ PURE (our Iridescent Mythology collection is made with PURE)

Bioglitter™ PURE is the world’s first, certified fresh water biodegradable and microplastic free glitter. Based on natural materials, Bioglitter™ PURE decomposes like a leaf in the natural environment to leave no trace.

TÜV Austria, OK Biodegradable WATER certification guarantees biodegradation in a natural, freshwater environment. This is the highest level of independent certification for fresh water biodegradability in the world. Bioglitter® PURE not only sets a new environmental standard for the glitter industry; with being soft to the touch it’s more comfortable on the skin and being aluminium free it offers a completely new look.

Bioglitter™ HOLO (our Holographic Universe collection is made with HOLO) 

Cosmetic Bioglitter™ HOLO, the world’s first TÜV, ‘OK Biodegradable WATER’ certified holographic glitter range, considered the highest level of independent certification for fresh water biodegradability in the world. 

Developed to biodegrade quickly and safely in the natural environment with the same environmental and health considerations as PURE and SPARKLE it, like magic creates a stunning kaleidoscope of colour splitting the light into it’s component parts resulting in a brilliant rainbow effect in non-diffuse, direct light producing an eye catching kaleidoscope of dazzling colour. Truly a world first and something to marvel at! 

✨ Can you mix Bioglitter™ PURE, SPARKLE and HOLOG together?

Yes you can. But Glitterazzi doesn't sell the three glitters mixed together. There are two main reasons for this:

1. You should always know what you're buying. SPARKLE, PURE and HOLO are different glitter and have different biodegradable properties. Some people only want to buy plastic-free glitter, others are happy to know that the glitter is proven to break down into harmless substances. So we have decided to our mixes separate. You are welcome to mix them together or layer them on the face or body! Go Crazy!

2. Our glitter mixologist and resident makeup artist spends hours creating the perfect mix to ensure you can just pop your finger in and apply. We have not yet come up with a mix that we're happy with that mixes the two types of glitters. When we do, we'll get it up on the site and be super transparent about what glitter is in the mix so that you know exactly what you're getting in the mix!

✨ How do you make your mixes?

We are super lucky at Glitterazzi to have our very own glitter mixologist and resident makeup artist who spends all her time working on perfecting our glitter mixes. No mix goes up on the site unless it's been face and body tested. 

It must look good applied in every way possible from thin or thick, minimal or maximum, face or body, small or large applications. We pride ourselves on creating the best glitter mixes! We promise you'll be delighted by how easy it is to apply and even better how amazing it looks when layered with all the other mixes!

Yes we can! Simply contact us here or DM us glitterazzi.me with the colour palette you're keen on, and we'll design something specifically for you!
