Why this glitter glue comes in plastic?

Our ethos is to avoid creating more plastic, so we researched every possible alternative. After testing glass, bamboo, tins, and other “eco” options, we found they either broke easily, weren’t fully recyclable, compromised the formula, or created more single-use packaging during shipping.

This tube is made from high-quality Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), one of the easiest plastics to recycle in Australia. It’s clear, durable, solvent-resistant, and widely accepted in household recycling. Most importantly, it can be washed and refilled many times before it ever needs to be recycled. For us, this makes it the most practical and planet-conscious choice available right now. And because it keeps your glue clean and safe, since you can squeeze out only what you need without dipping fingers or brushes inside.
